The emphasise on creating a beautiful sound, paying attention to the details, performance (rather than exams), and ensemble playing all add up to developing well-rounded musicians. I enjoy every moment helping students, step by step, to progress their learning and sharing a great sense of achievement with them. Being a Suzuki piano teacher is a special profession which enables a long term relationship with each student and their families. We go through happy and difficult times over the years and build deeper connection with them by musical life together. I have grown as a teacher and as a person along with personal and musical growth of each child.
As a part of the Suzuki program, I run group classes as well as private lessons. It has a great impact on building up the connection between peers. They enjoy making music together and listen and play for each other. It is so encouraging and inspiring rather than having a competitive mind. Now I have a full studio with different ages and level groups of students; older students look after younger students and younger students look up to elders and they work really well together. Each student has so many possibilities and it is my privilege to give my support and guide students and walk along with them in the process of becoming a great human being.”

The classes my teacher gives me are wonderful, and she is always patient and encouraging, and giving professional advice. She also organises group lessons. Being able to learn and enjoy music with my friends makes me even more eager to learn. Another helpful way to learn music, that Suzuki provides, is listening to the piece that I am learning. This helps me learn the tune and learn how professional pianists play my piece. Inspired by other students, and with the support of my teacher and parents, I will always love music.”

Through stage by stage learning, it enables them to build up their skill and confidence in many aspects of performing.
Secondly, as parents who have little and no musical experience or knowledge, Suzuki method’s approach and unique music education philosophy gives us a 100% opportunity for involvement. By allowing us to attend all lessons, our daughters have much higher and effective practice results, ensuring that they are reinforcing the skills they learnt during their lessons.
Finally, this is very important to us, that our daughters have learned to listen music. They have enjoyed all the recital performances. As parents we have appreciated and enjoyed every moment of the lessons and after class practicing involvements. We will continue to appreciate and treasure these valuable memories.”
